Luvin Poker review - software

The Luvin software is one of the main reasons I keep playing on the site. It's stable, easy to use, looks good, plays great and has good support for multi-tabling.

To start off with, the lobby itself has been designed really well. By that I mean that the way it's set out makes it a snap to find the game you're after, and then filter down further if you like to find a specific format and buyin.

Let's have a look how easy it is to customise the Luvin Poker software. Go to Options (at the top of the lobby) then 'Display all options'. There's a whole load of things you can do here with some really cool features. If you click on avatar and then change avatar, you have the option to upload an image of your choice to represent your player at the Luvin tables.

Next up, a really useful feature is 'player tagging' where you assign a term and colour to your opponent. Luvin comes with three built in (e.g. 'bad player') but you can add as many as you want, each with a different colour. So for example you might want to have 'pro', 'grinder', 'tight aggressive', 'donk', or whatever else you want.

Now click on 'cards' - from here you can choose from six different decks and ten different card backs.

Then under 'table backgrounds' there are five of these to choose from. So overall, a great range of customisation options to ensure the Luvin Poker software is looking exactly how you want it.

So in terms of multi-tabling, the support for this is superb - you can play up to 12 tables at once at any one time, and these can be organised on your screen with just one click, using the tile, cascade or stack icons. Tiling is especially good at Luvin as you can make the size of each table really small but still see the cards and action easily.

To make a note on a player, or assign them a tag, just right click on their name.

The Luvin Poker software is reliable and fast, with really smooth graphics. In short it's everything you'd want a poker client to be, and with the customisation options as well makes it pretty much perfect!
